Background

The 2025 Lower North Island Schools Sports Conference is a professional development opportunity for school sport personnel in the lower North Island.  The conference will build your knowledge and understanding of quality sport opportunities for secondary school students, particularly those that are less active, through a series of workshops and presentations and keynote speakers.  It builds upon last year’s national conference programme, focussing upon the key themes facing school sport today. 

The conference is jointly organised and hosted by College Sport Wellington, Taranaki Secondary School Sports Association, Sport Whanganui, Sport Manawatu and Wairarapa Secondary School Sport. It will be held at Massey University, Palmerston North, 15-16 September 2025.
