The Hurricanes Under 15 Boys Rugby Tournament is held every year during secondary school winter tournament week. Run on behalf of the Hurricanes Youth Rugby Council, the tournament is organised by College Sport Wellington and St Patrick’s College, Silverstream.
Held at St Patrick's College Silverstream and other venues in Upper Hutt City, the tournament provides under 15 boys the opportunity to travel a play different schools from their regular competition.
Entries
Entries for 2026 are now open and close Monday 15th June.
It is important to note that the Hurricanes U15 Boys Tournament is extremely popular and has been oversubscribed in previous years, thus entries will be accepted on a first-paid basis. Don’t miss out, get your entry form in ASAP.
Dates
The 2026 Hurricanes U15 Tournament will run from Wednesday 2 September to Saturday 5 September during secondary school winter tournament week.
Eligibility
The festival is sanctioned by School Sport New Zealand and NZ Rugby. Please check School Sport NZ eligibility regulations if you are unsure of their criteria.
